No idea why or how it works, but this app is fab! Works every time.
Not able to confirm the accuracy yet. But at least its fun to play around with, Ill raise it to 5 star whenever I found if it s accurate.

Some bad moments
Told me my resting rate was 54bpm. Then after a vigorous 40 min workout my rate was 43? Hmmm. Nope!
If it is taking my heart rate from a face scan why is it necessary to put finger over camera lens. Seems Ive seen other apps that get heart rate from camera. R u sure ur not just dressing up one of those apps with face scan u know to differentiate ur app
Scanned a pic of my dead wife with my finger over the camera lens& she has the same heart rate as me-but I felt exhilarated thats shes back with us again. I also checked on what is going on with cardio buddy at the USA App Store and apparently the message from the search says its not one of the app offerings-so why did it disappear there but not here

The other heart rate app of Azumio works fine but i dont believe this app is dependable or really working at all. Open an image on your pc and try to measure the heart rate of the image...you will see what i mean...i tried Madonnas image and it gave 68 bpm
Compared it with Polar and BP monitors - within a couple of beats rate. Tip: works better if you steady it on a surface vs. hand held - great app!
